Back in the Spin of Things

Greetings,

After a weekend off from running, it was time to get back into it this morning with some spins around the track.

I jogged there in my usual 2 minutes, then started with:
Jog 300m, Race-Pace 100m x 4
Jog 100m, Race-Pace 100m x 8

Walked home for recovery.

Legs felt better than I thought they would, after about a 5 day lay-off from running.

1200m worth of hard stuff felt just about right.  Still not sure if I'm going to take more of a focus on half-mile or 1/4 mile trials, since I did find a handful of 5K's coming up in August now.  I think I'm just going to keep training in the same style I have been,  and seeing how my 5K times go. I hope I can get about 2-3 5K's in during the month of August.
